Mykulynetsky Brovar (Brewery), situated in the old village of Mykulyntsi, brews a large assortment of live non-pasteurized beer, known for its excellent quality and unique flavor. Each type of beer is unique and has its own history.
Since this is a classic beer brand with a long-standing history and traditions, it inherited the original label design, preserving its main recognizable elements. The brief was to update the logo and label, make them more polished and organic, while maintaining their recognizability and following. The brand did not want its consumers to experience radical changes in the design.
The use of a "shield" image is characteristic for all products of the Mykulynetsky Brewery; it is used as the backdrop for all product information and graphic elements. The Brewery’s beer assortment is divided into a "general" line with classical beer sorts and an "exclusive" line, with more unusual and limited edition sorts. We used a banner with the name and additional descriptions of the beer properties for the "general" line. The color of the banner is different for every product and is the main differentiating design element. For the "exclusive" line, featuring unique beer sorts, we used thematic illustrations and a more arbitrary visual interpretation of the products’ names.
