The Task
Bukhta Vikinhiv (literally Vikings’ Bay) is a hotel and recreation complex which has for years provided its visitors with a multitude of ways to spend their leisure with use and pleasure. The park will satisfy the adults’ love for both active and passive recreation. And in order to cater to the needs of its younger visitors, the owners have initiated the construction of an amusement park.
URURU is an outdoor amusement park for children aged 2 years and older. Here you can find more than 40 huge animated dinosaurs. Children can climb and jump through a net maze in the trees, swing, and climb various slides. The park is yet to introduce its ‘gold mine’, trampolines, suspension maze towers, large swings and very large slides.
For the park to be successful in ‘communicating’ with its visitors, both kids and adults, we were tasked with creating a logo, a comprehensive communication character and tone, and developing a variety of branding materials and navigation elements.
The Solution
Kids always love funny and playful characters — they’re great to chat with and get up to mischief too! They’re always ready and willing to join in on any fun, adventure or silliness. We started off by creating a series of simple, cute, memorable characters. The park’s logo incorporates both signature colors and distinctive features found in said characters. Thanks to this, the logo can change and assimilate to one or another character at any given time. The ‘wave’ element makes the logo even more dynamic and hints at the various fun and interesting activities and attractions the park has to offer. Don’t wait around — come to the park and ride the wave of attractions, fun, and entertainment.
